Fresh prints. Thoughtful materials. Creative community.
French Paper is excited to announce French at the Market, a new juried open call celebrating risograph artwork, creative process, and the artists who bring ideas to life.
In partnership with Krasl Print Lab, this inaugural project invites artists to explore the connection between materials, making, and community through original risograph artwork.
Inspired by farmers markets, art fairs, print swaps, and independent maker culture, French at the Market celebrates the joy of discovering something thoughtfully made. Much like a market brings together growers, makers, and neighbors, this project brings together artists, printmakers, collectors, and creative communities through a shared appreciation for craft and collaboration.
Whether you’re a longtime printmaker or exploring risograph for the first time, we invite you to share your work, tell your story, and become part of the inaugural French at the Market Collection.
A Celebration of Risograph Printing
Risograph printing is a process built around experimentation, color, texture, and creativity. Through French at the Market, artists are invited to create original work that highlights the possibilities of printmaking while showcasing the unique relationship between artwork and materials.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to collaborate with French Paper and Krasl Print Lab to bring their designs to life as limited-edition risograph prints.
